By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein oron our returns page. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any Services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.
Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
All the custom products provided from this website are one off customised items created and provided as ordered.
On purchasing these items from this website you agree that you are purchasing a one off customised product created to order.
You also acknowledge upon purchasing from this website that you have checked the size charts for the brand you are purchasing and agree that you the buyer are wholly responsible for selecting the right size. If for any reason you purchase the incorrect size we will customise a pair in the correct size and exchange at our discretion. This incorporates a minimum fee of $60 for cleaning and restocking.
Warranty – satisfaction guarantee
Mad Alice warrants that the workmanship and application of the paint and artwork has been done in accordance with the manufacturers instructions. We will repair defect in the artwork at our sole discretion for a period of 12 months where the product fails with reasonable use.
Mad Alice may, at our discretion, undertake repair work even if we deem the damage has been caused by misadventure or neglect. We reserve the right to charge postage on the return of the repaired items in this instance.
Reasonable use constitutes the use of the shoes and other products as casual fashion wear and does not include trade use, extreme sports, negligence or abuse.
Reasonable use will be determined at our (Mad Alice) sole discretion.
Should the product fail for any reason with reasonable use Mad Alice will repair the artwork and cover the cost of postage.
Defects
Defects in the artwork will fall under our standard warranty terms above and will be repaired in accordance with those terms.
Refunds
By commissioning Mad Alice, you agree to engage us to create custom artwork on your items. As this is a bespoke service, you acknowledge full responsibility for the cost of the artwork and waive your right to a refund, except in cases where rectification is deemed necessary.
Mad Alice guarantees that all artwork will be completed professionally and free from defects. However, any claims regarding errors or faults in the design will be assessed at our discretion. If we determine that the artwork is free of errors, a $60 restocking fee will apply to any approved return.
Please note:
If you provide AI mockups or digital artwork, we will match the design as closely as possible. However, because we work with paint and other non-digital materials, the final product will not be an exact replica of your digital reference.
Do not proceed with your order if you require an exact match to your mockup.
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 2 business days of receiving the returned item. Original shipping and insurance fees are non-refundable. Refunds typically take 5–7 business days to appear in your account. If you experience delays, please contact your bank or card provider before reaching out to us.
Timeline
Typical turnaround time is 2 – 3 weeks*. Complex artwork, wait list and shoe ordering times will affect turnaround. An estimated time frame will be given, We will always do our best to complete the job within the estimated turnaround given, however, there is no guarantee as to how long a job will take.
Shipping/delivery
Mad Alice offers free standard delivery . Any additional shipping costs such as express or overnight postage charges will be billed to the customer at the time of purchase. Mad Alice Custom Kicks shall not be liable for any damages incurred during shipping if the shipping insurance is not purchased with the order.
Limitation of Liability
Once posted/collected from Mad Alice Customs, the condition/whereabouts of the item is beyond our control and we will not take any responsibility for loss or damage.
We do not paint the soles of the shoes, the shoes midsoles or plastic or rubber shoe parts.
We are not responsible for any change of mind after the paint/artwork is complete.
No item will be posted/handed over if full payment has not been received.
Any damage that occurs to the item due to the nature of its use will be the sole responsibility of the customer or manufacturer, Mad Alice Custom Kicks shall not at any time be held liable.

Guarantee
All goods are guaranteed in accordance with our standard terms and conditions.
At Mad Alice Customs, we guarantee the artwork that we provide. If there is a defect in your artwork, or you are unsatisfied with the artwork you receive, we’ll be more than happy to discuss with you how we can make it right.
We offer a one year warranty on our artwork and will repair any wear and tear that happens from normal wear within this time frame. Delivery costs will be at the cost of the customer.
Due to the nature of custom artwork, and the fact that a real, live, human artist with their own style and preferences hand paints each order, there will be differences to any reference pictures you have provided and there may be small imperfections that would not occur if you had the artwork printed with a machine.
We also may make changes as we see fit to improve the quality and appearance of your designs. After all, you are ordering custom artwork!
